About the role

We’re seeking an Inventory Optimization Manager dedicated to The Roku Channel to join our team of talented inventory yield specialists that are working to maximize profitable revenue and provide best in class support for our platform business. 

This position will report to the Director of Inventory Optimization, as part of the larger Ad Revenue Solutions organization.  The TRC Inventory Manager will have the opportunity to help build out a reporting suite & drive strategic projects that focus on maximizing The Roku Channel ad inventory utilization while optimizing toward company and advertiser KPIs

This is a full-time position and can be based at our office in New York or Santa Monica.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $110,000 and $230,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What you'll be doing

  • Automation and streamlining of all business stakeholder reporting, including advancing measurement and insights into key KPIs
  • Create and define new metrics that provide executive leadership information about the health of our TRC ads business from an inventory perspective
  • Partner with Ad Sales Strategy, Ad Supported Content Partnerships & FP&A on long range inventory planning sessions for both US & international plans
  • Develop international inventory strategies for new and emerging markets
  • Work closely with Product Management to help define business requirements for proprietary tools and new ad formats that allow us to balance user experience & monetization
  • Distribute weekly and bi-weekly Inventory updates to Product and Senior Management to inform revenue opportunity & inventory gaps specific to the Roku Channel

 
We're excited if you have

  • At least 10+ years of digital or TV Yield/Inventory experience
  • Understanding of high-level Yield & Monetization strategy
  • Experience working on projects & rolling out initiatives and following through on their implementation
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Preferred knowledge of data automation via Airflow
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of ad servers and Programmatic SSPs or DSPs
  • Experience in long range planning exercises and forecasting models
