About The Roku Channel Ad-Supported Content Partnerships Team:

The Roku Channel (TRC) Content Partnerships Team is focused on partnership growth strategy and account management. We have both VOD (video on demand) and Linear ad-supported content, which we receive from over 300 content partners. Partners can range from large studios to smaller, niche licensing houses.  We use analytics data around content performance to help us merchandise and advise partners on how to leverage their asset libraries with us to drive monetization. We also work closely with product teams on platform enhancements that can improve content discoverability, the viewer experience and brand awareness. This team is responsible for the overall success of key content partners on The Roku Channel.

 

The Role:

The Content Partnerships team is seeking a Content Partnerships Associate who will act as a generalist across the team. As a Content Partnerships Associate, you will have the ability to develop a wide range of skills while refining expertise across a variety of subjects. This generalist will work with many team members across the broader group and will collaborate cross functionally with several other departments.  Key internal teams this individual may collaborate with include: Operations, Programming, Content Acquisition, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Analytics, Media Strategy, Ad Product, Ad Ops and Marketing. This role combines both technical and business aspects and requires strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role is excited to learn the ins and outs of streaming in a fast-paced environment and has partner-facing experience  in the software/technology space (OTT preferred).

For NY Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $81,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the submission, review and launch of new partner content, communicating with partners and working internally with Programming, Acquisition and Operational teams
  • Development of partner business review performance decks, working closely with Analytics and Marketing teams
  • Support the Accounting, Accounts Payable and Business Operations team in defining new or existing workflows and processes
  • Own end to end marketing campaign executions - from building media plans (audience targeting, budget allocation) to setting up campaigns & trafficking creatives in close collaboration with Ad Ops teams
  • Manage marketing campaigns post launch – monitoring delivery, optimizing creative and final wrap-up reporting
  • Hands on with monitoring dashboards and maintenance of business and operational documentation needed to inform decisions and guide planning 
  • Aggregate feedback flagged by various stakeholders into comprehensive and actionable trackers to drive process improvement

 

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, communications, economics or related discipline; MBA preferred but not required  
  • 4+ years of experience in the digital media space
  • Experience leveraging advanced excel skills and working in custom CMS tools 
  • Background in analytics and synthesizing data into comprehensive presentation decks
  • External facing partnerships experience
  • Worked cross functionally with internal technical and business groups
  • Self-organized with a structured thinking approach to workflows and problem solving
  • Superb communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation with ease and fluidity between technical and business topics
  • Plus - Knowledge of OTT platforms and technology; experience with digital content distribution workflows
  • Plus – Experience flighting and managing marketing campaigns and creative approvals process
  • Plus - Experience in Content Operations, ideally in a video delivery environment
  • Plus - Familiar with business applications – Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, NetSuite, JIRA, Zendesk, Confluence
