About the Team
At Roku, the Viewer Product Team is connecting millions of viewers worldwide to their favorite entertainment through a uniquely Roku experience. The International Product Team collaborates with functional experts and strategic leaders to develop and execute roadmaps for all aspects of the Roku ecosystem across global markets. This team works cross-functionally to understand the needs of our consumers and partners, along with other market opportunities, analyzes data to draw insights and learnings, collaborates on a thoughtful go-to-market plan to drive the success of the latest features, and works hand-in-hand across marketing, sales, merchandising, data science, engineering, and other product teams.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, growth-focused, collaborative, and experienced product leader to lead our International Product team. In this global role, you will lead a team of Product Managers, oversee our growth & engagement strategy, and identify product priorities that advance Roku’s strategic goals across international markets. You will play a critical role in building the connective tissue between Roku’s global goals and market-specific strategies, ensuring the successful delivery of products and features to millions of customers worldwide.
The ideal candidate is a strong product thinker, highly strategic, tactically savvy, and skilled at navigating a matrixed environment. They know how to build trust and alignment, operate with a global mindset, and excel in fast-paced and collaborative settings.
This position will report to the Director of Product, International, Privacy & Accounts. This role will require the ability to travel both domestically and internationally regularly (a few times per quarter).
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $178,000 - $337,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and empower a team of Product Managers, driving strategy & execution in key international markets
- Own our product growth & engagement strategy across international markets
- Drive alignment on the international product roadmap by working with global, regional, and functional stakeholders
- Enable in-market experimentation to ensure our products have a great fit in local markets
- Ensure that market-specific needs & opportunities are represented in cross-functional planning and that our product efforts drive tangible business outcomes globally
- Build and strengthen relationships between the International Product team and core global Roku teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, and more)
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to optimize the delivery of new features and ensure strong execution in international markets
- Communicate progress and strategy clearly across multiple levels of the organization, including executive stakeholders
We’re Excited If You Have
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years managing product teams
- Experience leading international/global teams with a proven track record of delivering consumer-facing products in global markets
- Hands-on (product-led) growth experience
- Experience with lifecycle marketing concepts or hands-on experience in understanding and driving long-term consumer retention
- Significant experience working in the TV or streaming industry, with a deep understanding of the ecosystem, technologies, and customer expectations
- Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and execution skills
- Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other disciplines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep customer empathy and the ability to balance global consistency with local relevance & needs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
