About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Linear Programming & Analytics Coordinator to join our Roku operations team. This role will be responsible for organizing Video-On-Demand (VOD) content into linear channel schedules, retrieving and analyzing performance data, and producing actionable reports to guide programming and audience engagement strategies.

 

For Connecticut Only - The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $29 - $35 per hour.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

 

What you’ll be doing

Linear Channel Programming

  • Curate and organize VOD and LIVE content into daily and weekly linear channel schedules using industry-standard scheduling platforms
  • Collaborate with content and editorial teams to ensure programming aligns with audience preferences and brand strategy
  • Maintain accurate programming logs and metadata for all scheduled content

Analytics & Reporting

  • Retrieve viewership, engagement, and performance data from Roku’s analytics tools and third-party platforms
  • Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy
  • Create regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) summarizing key metrics, trends, and insights
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize programming and improve audience retention

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with content acquisition, marketing, and technical operations teams to ensure smooth programming workflows
  • Share analytics findings with stakeholders to inform decision-making
  • Assist in special projects related to programming strategy and audience development

 

We’re excited if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in content programming, broadcast scheduling, or media analytics
  • Strong understanding of OTT/CTV platforms, especially Roku
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Roku dashboards, Google Analytics, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
