About the team
The Roku Ad Marketing team is responsible for accelerating new revenue potential, advancing Roku’s advertising brand positioning, and providing insights and inspiration that help businesses maximize their potential in TV streaming. Our team of marketers, strategists, and designers delivers client strategies, research and insights, new product innovations, events, and experiences — all in service of Roku’s purpose to make TV better for everyone.
About the role
Roku is seeking a strategic and collaborative Insights Marketing Manager to join our Ad Marketing team. In this role, you will partner closely with our Corporate, Ad Measurement & Analytics, Ad Sales, and Growth Marketing teams to bring data-driven storytelling to market.
You will lead the creation and management of high-impact deliverables that not only shape and strengthen Roku Advertising’s perception and influence within the industry, but also equip our sales teams with powerful, insights-driven resources to create new demand and accelerate revenue growth. This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of data, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration — and who can turn complex research into compelling brand stories that drive influence and action.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $81,000 and $121,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you’ll be doing
- Serve as the central steward of Roku Advertising’s insights, ensuring data and research are consistently leveraged to strengthen brand story, messaging, and positioning
- Act as the primary liaison between Ad Measurement & Analytics, Ad Marketing, and Sales to align on data usage, storytelling opportunities, and strategic priorities
- Partner with Brand and Demand Marketing on how insights are packaged and activated externally in social initiatives, events, and thought-leadership content
- Manage and maintain core insights and data repository that anchor Roku Advertising’s brand narrative – partnering with Ad Measurement and Ad Marketing on updates, ensuring integration into messaging and materials, and driving alignment across teams
- Lead development of seasonal insights reports in partnership with Ad Measurement & Analytics and Demand Marketing, surfacing powerful stories and trends about TV streaming and entertainment that reinforce Roku’s market leadership
- Craft compelling sales narratives and education sessions that spotlight market trends, viewing behaviors and audience insights to support sales at key industry moments throughout the year
- Support execution of third-party measurement studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring to life
- Support Roku’s participation in measurement and research industry associations, maximizing the value of membership and identifying opportunities to amplify Roku’s data and insights externally
We’re excited if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in marketing or insights in advertising, media or ad tech industries
- Experience in B2B marketing for an advertising, streaming, or media company
- Strong ability to translate complex data into compelling, brand-reinforcing narratives
- Comfort working with both quantitative and qualitative insights
- Knowledge of industry research sources (Nielsen, Comscore, eMarketer, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience creating sales-ready materials
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders — including confidently presenting a point of view, pushing back when necessary, and advocating for the best outcome
- Familiarity with advertising measurement, media research, or audience analytics
- Proficiency with presentation and visualization tools (PowerPoint, Tableau or similar is a plus)
