About the team
Roku’s Media Distribution team drives performance across the Roku ecosystem—on and off platform—by leveraging data-driven insights and backend infrastructure expertise. We demonstrate operational excellence by translating cross-functional narratives into clear, actionable strategies, and we maintain a continuous feedback loop that keeps budget stakeholders informed and empowered to shape future initiatives. The Media Distribution team sits within the Consumer Marketing Organization (CMO), which is responsible for driving the growth of Roku’s owned-and-operated services through strategic marketing campaigns that tell compelling stories about the Roku experience and its offerings. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work has a real impact on the Roku business.
About the role
The Performance Media Coordinator is a member of the Performance Media team, which falls within Media Distribution. This role supports the day-to-day tactical execution of media campaigns that drive streaming hours, subscriptions, and platform engagement through Roku’s owned-and-operated media and marketing channels. In this role, you’ll support senior team members across the team by working with data, tools, and established processes to maintain media plans, booking calendars, and ensure reporting is organized and on track.
What you'll be doing
- Support performance marketing campaigns on Roku devices to help drive key KPIs for internal marketing partners
- Assist Performance Media Managers with building and updating media plans, including trafficking, targeting, and creative in internal tools
- Partner with analytics to pull performance data, maintain recurring reports, and surface clear, actionable insights for optimization
- Use platform tooling to track campaign performance, QA upcoming executions, and help optimize KPIs per budget area goals, escalating trends and issues as needed
- Prepare performance reports for Marketing teams and other stakeholders
- Develop a working understanding of Roku’s ad products, campaign execution types, and ad product capabilities
We're excited if you have
- Entry level experience: newly graduated (1-2 years out of school)
- Interest in and curiosity about the Streaming TV landscape and the broader digital media ecosystem
- Coursework, internships, project experience, or prior roles related to marketing, media planning, analytics, or a similar field
- Comfort working with ambiguity and a desire to learn new tools, processes, and platforms quickly
- Ability to work with data sets in spreadsheets or dashboards, identify basic trends, and translate them into clear next steps for both marketing and technical stakeholders
- Interest in using data to inform decisions and optimize campaigns over time
- Excellent project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
- Strong judgment and attention to detail with an understanding of (or interest in learning about) marketing & advertising ethics
- Positive attitude, and excited about coming into the office to collaborate with teammates
