About the Team  

The Devices & Operating System (OS) Marketing team creates the narratives, strategies, and go‑to‑market plans that bring our streaming devices to life. Our mission is simple: connect people to the entertainment they love while driving real business impact for Roku. We’re a mix of Marketers who live at the intersection of data and storytelling, partnering closely with a variety of teams to turn insights into campaigns, launches, and experiences. On any given day, you’ll find us digging into the numbers, crafting sharp narratives, and rallying cross‑functional partners around big, bold ideas. About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to help more people discover and fall in love with the magic of Roku OS. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner with a variety of teams to turn new features and product moments into stories that spark delight, while helping us achieve our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded marketing background and excellent relationship-building skills. They will enjoy uncovering opportunities to drive our narrative and pursue everything with an energetic, entrepreneurial spirit. They’ll have the confidence to interact comfortably with senior-level executives when promoting their ideas, and also manage the daily tasks required to move their initiatives forward.

For California Only - The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off. 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Team up with Product Management to surface standout Roku OS features that reinforce our positioning and differentiation
  • Build a unified marketing strategy for OS feature launches that brings together products, programs, and channels in one cohesive narrative
  • Partner with our creative teams to develop communications and storytelling that highlight the importance of these experiences for consumers, partner and the broader industry
  • Be a cross-functional leader by managing OS-specific communications from briefing, planning, creative development, implementation, and reporting across multiple consumer touchpoints including PR, websites, retail, mobile apps, videos and more
  • Get to know our audiences deeply—and adjust messaging to resonate with each of them
  • Spot fresh opportunities and new touchpoints where the brilliance of Roku OS can shine and influence TV and streaming player purchase decisions

 

We’re excited if you have

  • 5+ years in entertainment or consumer tech—bonus points for hardware or services
  • A collaborative spirit and the superpower to bring cross‑functional teams together
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a knack for uncovering new possibilities
  • Hands-on GTM planning and execution experience with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical chops to turn data into clear recommendations
  • Confident and clear communicator regardless of the audience

Our Hybrid Work Approach

Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams work in the office Monday through Thursday. Fridays are flexible for remote work except for employees whose roles are required to be in the office five days a week or employees who are in offices with a five day in office policy.
