About the team
Frndly TV’s Ads Business Development team is responsible for outreach to agencies, brands and DSPs driving incremental revenue through direct IO, PMP and PG business.
About the role
Frndly TV is looking for an experienced, self-starting Ads Business Development Manager to join our Ad Sales Team. This role will contribute to the growth of Frndly TVs direct sales and programmatic business and broader ads business organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring partner success, by delivering on the needs of clients, while maximizing revenue impact. Your contributions will be essential in fostering strong relationships, managing partner expectations, and driving value for Frndly TV and its’ partners. This position requires strong communication skills and analytical skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced revenue-driven environment.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $105,000 and $126,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
This role is eligible for incentive compensation/commissions, health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off
What you’ll be doing
- Representing the ads business development team as the primary point of contact for select groups of agencies, brands and DSPs
- Efficiently manage and quarterback all outreach and partner tasks including preparing partner plans, reporting, technical troubleshooting, upselling and communication for programmatic partners.
- Develop strategies for working with key agencies and brands
- Partner with Ad Product & Operations and Ad Yield to implement campaigns, meet targeting, pricing and reporting requirements
- Support the ads business development team across key initiatives and partnerships
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of Frndly TV’s offerings to partners including the engagement of viewers, demographics of its audience, etc.
- Qualify leads to ensure they align with the companies’ goals and prioritization
We’re excited if you have
- 5 years of experience in advertising partnerships at a streaming TV publisher, ad agency, DSP and/or SSP.
- Programmatic experience is preferred. OTT platform experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationships skills and ability to work effectively with a team. Experience preparing and presenting PowerPoint presentations
- Extensive knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, and OTT video are a plus.
- Experience working with a CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and reporting products such as Tableau, among others. Experience in SSP instances is a big plus.
- Working knowledge of both oRTB, VAST and ad-servers
- Analytical, proactive mindset, solutions orientated
- Self-starter, comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment
