About the team

The Early Careers Talent Acquisition team brings interns and new graduates into Roku through thoughtful programs, strong partnerships, and a candidate‑first process. As part of the wider Talent Acquisition (TA) organization, we use data, close collaboration, and continual iteration to run successful, scalable early careers programs that reflect our culture and deliver results.

About the role

Roku is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Global Early Careers Manager to lead the vision, design, and execution of early careers programs across international markets. This high‑impact leadership role operates within a small, agile global team, offers direct engagement with senior executives, and gives you the opportunity to shape the long‑term early talent pipeline at Roku. You will design and scale a globally consistent yet locally relevant  strategy that drives innovation, operational excellence, and executive alignment across regions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Global strategy and leadership: Define and lead Roku’s global early careers strategy, aligning to business goals and regional talent needs across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Serve as a thought partner and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Executive influence: Collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners (People, Finance, L&G) to secure buy‑in, shape program priorities, and drive strategic workforce planning for early careers talent.
  • Program ownership end‑to‑end: Oversee the full lifecycle of intern and new‑college‑grad (NCG) programs globally from attraction and selection to onboarding, development, conversion, and offboarding.
  • Data‑driven decisions: Leverage global talent insights, competitive benchmarks, and internal analytics to inform strategy, improve funnel health, and influence leadership decisions.
  • Brand and engagement: Partner with Employer Branding to elevate Roku’s presence through targeted campaigns, events, and digital outreach tailored to global markets.
  • Campus and community presence: Represent Roku at key university events, hackathons, and student‑led initiatives worldwide; build strong relationships with academic institutions and student communities.
  • Continuous improvement: Evaluate program effectiveness using feedback and data; implement enhancements that improve scalability, inclusivity, and long‑term impact.
  • Team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing early careers TA team, fostering clarity, ownership, and operational excellence.

We’re excited if you have

  • Extensive experience in university relations and early careers recruiting/program leadership, with a proven track record of running global programs ideally within the technology industry.
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence senior leaders across geographies.
  • Strategic mindset with hands‑on execution, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change at pace.
  • Deep knowledge of global early talent trends, regional nuances, and campus ecosystems.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to represent Roku and build global partnerships.

The Roku Culture

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
