About the Team
The Content Marketing Team leads the promotion of all free content available on The Roku Channel — including Roku Originals, sports, live events, and licensed series and movies — leveraging the power of the Roku platform and owned marketing channels to drive awareness and viewership. Our team works closely with cross-functional partners to set and execute content marketing priorities, ensuring each campaign maximizes impact and supports the growth of our rapidly expanding library.
About the Role
Roku is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support content marketing across sports, live events, Roku Originals, and priority programming. This role will work closely with content marketing leads to execute campaign strategies that drive tune-in and engagement, while also ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and optimized for performance.
In this position, you will partner cross-functionally with teams including media strategy, content, merchandising, live operations, creative studio, PR, social, sponsorship, and product to align on marketing plans and priorities. You will also play a key role in campaign execution, creative asset management, and performance tracking, ensuring all efforts support Roku’s overarching content marketing goals. The ideal candidate has experience in entertainment, tech, live events, or sports marketing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at managing multiple projects while collaborating across teams. Experience analyzing campaign performance to inform strategy is highly valued, as is a strong eye for creative that resonates with audiences.
For California Only – The estimated annual salary for this position is between $83,000 - $97,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting content marketing leadership in day-to-day execution of campaigns for sports, live events, Roku Originals, and priority content
- Assisting in the development of campaign briefs that clearly outline objectives, messaging, and deliverables to kick off the creative development process
- Collaborating with PR, social, media, merchandising, sales, and other partners to ensure alignment on campaign strategy and execution
- Maintaining a centralized calendar of marketing resourcing, priorities, and campaign milestones
- Auditing and cataloging incoming partner assets to support seamless development of creative deliverables and campaign materials
- Managing the creative asset development process, including delivery of creative feedback, approvals, and trafficking
- Coordinating QC and troubleshooting for select live events outside of standard business hours
- Communicating with external partners for asset approvals and campaign alignment
- Upholding and enforcing internal and external brand guidelines across all content categories
- Partnering with internal stakeholders (Creative, Content, Sports, Live, Originals) on the development and review of campaign assets
- Trafficking on-platform marketing assets to ensure timely, accurate delivery and alignment with campaign objectives
- Sharing campaign media plans with internal stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment
- Tracking and reporting on campaign performance to help benchmark and inform future marketing strategies
We’re Excited If You Have
- 2–3 years of direct experience executing 360° content marketing campaigns at a studio, broadcast network, streaming platform, or similar entertainment/media organization
- Proven ability to make data-driven marketing decisions that improve campaign performance
- Previous experience in entertainment, sports, tech, or live event marketing
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under tight timelines and pivot quickly in a dynamic environment
- A creative mindset with a strong eye for visual design and audience relevance
- Awareness of trends in sports, entertainment, and streaming, with the ability to identify what resonates now and what’s next
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of execution
